Vanquish Worldwide, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) dedicated to providing worldwide support services to the U.S. Government and commercial market sector since 2007, has been awarded a supplemental contract to their prime contract issued by the U.S. Central Command for National Afghan Trucking (NAT). NAT is the largest transportation contract in Afghanistan and vital to the U.S. government’s current retrograde mission throughout the country.
Vanquish Worldwide is currently the only U.S.-based company and small business performing on the contract. As a prime from September 2011 until present day, Vanquish has gone from distributing Class I, II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII, VIIII, and X cargo to more than 400 forward operating bases to now supporting U.S. retrograde efforts and transporting equipment and supplies to locations for shipment and transport out of Afghanistan.
Vanquish has proven itself to be a leader in transportation and logistics services in the harsh environment of Afghanistan with over 1,738,000 miles driven in support of NAT. They have successfully executed more than 12,500 truck movements, completing an average of 487 missions per month. More than 30 million liters of fuel, 78,000 tons of dry goods and 61,000 tons of heavy equipment has been delivered across Afghanistan utilizing a fleet of 1,260 vehicles with up to 500 assets on the road at one time.
“We are honored to assist the U.S. Government in its retrograde mission and look forward to continuing our successful track record of on time missions with no cargo loss,” said Matt Naugher, Transportation Manager of Vanquish Worldwide. Critical to the U.S. Government’s retrograde operations, logistical services will also be provided by Vanquish by tracking and ensuring the integrity and safety of U.S. cargo throughout each mission. “Vanquish has an incomparable history of success in providing movement and logistical support in Afghanistan, and we continue to use our experience and expertise to provide the highest level of services during this time of retrograde,” said Mr. Naugher.
During the last few years, Vanquish has been preparing for the retrograde and decreased U.S. presence in Afghanistan, expanding their transportation and logistics services across the U.S. Vanquish is a domestic ground freight carrier for the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command as well as many commercial brokers and clients across 48 states and Canada. To support their growing domestic operations the company has moved to a 17,000 sq. ft. facility that has ample space for a growing fleet of 2014/2015 International ProStar power units, flat beds, trailer and dry vans. Vanquish’s transportation dispatch center is located at this facility and staffed 24/7/365 with logistics specialists and load planners who track trucking assets in Afghanistan and across the U.S.
