MARYVILLE, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Vanquish Worldwide, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) dedicated to providing worldwide transportation services to the U.S. government and commercial clients since 2007, has been awarded a bridge contract for National Afghan Trucking (NAT) Services and a follow-on NAT contract (NAT 2.0) as their original NAT 1.0 contract comes to an end.

Vanquish has an unrivaled history of success providing movement and logistics support for Class I, II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII, VIIII, and X cargo across Afghanistan for the Department of Defense U.S. Central Command, proving itself as a worldwide secure transportation leader.

On the NAT contracts to date, Vanquish has successfully:
• Executed more than 13,920 truck movements across Afghanistan
• Driven more than 3.2 million miles, averaging approximately 500 missions per month
• Delivered 37.1 million liters of fuel
• Distributed more than 132,375 tons of dry goods and 76,300 tons of heavy equipment
• Utilized a fleet of 1,260 vehicles with up to 500 assets on the road at one time

During the last three years, NAT contract objectives have shifted from distributing cargo to more than 400 forward-operating bases, to supporting U.S. retrograde efforts by transporting equipment and supplies for shipment out of Afghanistan. The recently awarded NAT 2.0 contract is still the largest U.S. government transportation contract in Afghanistan ($600M IDIQ); Vanquish is one of eight on the contract and continues to be the only U.S.-based small business working on NAT.

“We are pleased to receive both the NAT bridge and follow-on contracts which we feel validate our determination and hard work over the last three years despite Afghanistan’s arduous terrain, severe climate conditions, and ongoing security threats,” said President and CEO of Vanquish Worldwide Eric W. Barton. “We always take necessary security precautions and have implemented the best asset-tracking devices and software which enables us to consistently deliver cargo on time with no loss. Since the beginning of NAT we have understood the importance of our cargo missions in supporting the war-fighter. Protecting our drivers and military cargo has always been of the utmost importance at Vanquish and will continue to be as we execute our new NAT contract.”

Although Vanquish Worldwide’s NAT contracts are of the highest importance, in preparation of the decreased U.S. presence in Afghanistan over the last few years, Vanquish has expanded its U.S. commercial transportation operations. To support its growing domestic work, the company has recently tripled its fleet of power units, trailers, and dry vans. Vanquish’s U.S. transportation dispatch center is staffed with load planners, DOT safety & compliance officers, dispatchers, and logistics specialists who track trucking assets and cargo across Afghanistan and the U.S. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
